Tualatin Tomorrow Summer issues workshops

Community Members Explored the Future of Tualatin at Issues Workshops in Summer 2006

What do we want Tualatin to be like in 20 years? How do we want to get there? Over 100 community members met this summer to explore these questions for specific aspects of community life in Tualatin Tomorrow issues-based workshops. The workshop results were used to create draft vision statements that were unveiled at the October 25, 2006 Town Hall event at Hazelbrook Middle School. These Vision Ideas were the foundation for the development of Action Items, the building blocks of Tualatin's Strategic Action Plan.

Sponsored by the City of Tualatin, the Tualatin Tomorrow visioning process will develop two documents to guide Tualatin's future to the year 2030. The first is a vision statement, which will express where the community wants to be in the future. The other is a detailed, strategic action plan, which will include projects and identify partners to achieve the vision.
